A 28 year old, mother of four children, dealing with metastatic breast cancer. She recently underwent radiation and then surgery to the spine for her disease. SOS Lowcountry has helped her obtain a breast prosthesis with bras, and transportation to her treatments.

A 42 year old single mother of two. She is a teacher, but had to take leave while having her treatments. SOS-L was able to help provide gas cards to cover transportation and also provided funding to cover some of her utility bills until she was able to work again.

A woman in her 80s battling breast cancer who has Medicare insurance which does not cover lymphedema sleeves. SOS-L was able to provide funding for the lymphedema sleeve.

A 31 year old, mother of 3 little boys, who has completed her chemotherapy and surgery. SOS-L helped her with medications, a wig, and transportation from Goose Creek/Moncks Corner to her radiation appointments.

A 35 year old woman, mother of 3 children, oldest is 5 and just started kindergarten, husband is out of work on disability. SOS-L provided funds to help cover gas and mortgage expenses.

An elderly woman who needed SOS-L to help with transportation and medications for nausea during chemotherapy. She has completed chemo and is anticipating surgery at the beginning of the year.
